Welcome to the Western Swimming Pool in Peel. Whether you’re looking to work on your technique or just want to play, we have something for everyone – including a fabulous café and playground. We want you to get the best from your local pool and the whole team is here to make that happen.
Swimming lessons
Our Junior Swim Scheme is one of the most varied learn-to-swim programmes in the Isle of Man, from four months old right through to young adult. Whether your child wants to swim for fun or for the Olympic team, it’s a great springboard. We also offer adult lessons and coaching for everyone from beginners to budding triathletes.
Public swimming
The pool is open for public swimming at different times every day, typically divided to give space to both serious and social swimmers. We have a full range of swim equipment for fitness and fun, and for people with physical challenges there’s a hoist for help getting in and out of the pool, flotation aids, an accessible changing room and more.
Other activities
Aquafit, Silver Club, synchronised swimming, indoor kayaking…we have a great range of other pool-based activities to choose from. We also offer support and coaching for people of all ages with special needs, run by experienced teachers who will tailor the sessions to you.
