Whatever your age, ability and water goals, there’s something for you in our exciting range of pool-based activities.
We have a range of aerobics-style classes in the pool, from challenging deep water classes to less demanding sessions in the shallow end. Aquafit is a great low-impact way to exercise, and especially helpful for all kinds of physical rehab.
These sessions for older adults feature a more gentle range of exercises to support mobility, cardiovascular health and general fitness, all supported by the water. Classes are run by our highly experienced instructors Heather Melvin and Alison Cowin, who build in plenty of modifications so that the exercises work for everyone.
Our Little Gems club is run by Gemma, a qualified synchro instructor. Sessions are 5.30 to 6.15pm every Thursday in term time, with week-long crash courses in the main holidays. Children must be able to swim two lengths, tread water for at least two minutes and be confident underwater. Gemma is also happy to work with groups of adults.
