Aquafit is aerobics-style exercise in water. At WSP we run a variety of classes so however confident you are in water, there will always be one to suit your needs. These include deep water aquafit which, as you are out of your depth is the highest level of difficulty, and shallow water aquafit which is an easier class held in chest depth water. Whichever level you choose and regardless of your fitness level, aquafit provides a great workout in water. Everyone is free to workout at their own pace whilst provided with modifications to the session to increase or decrease the difficulty of the workout.
Due to the effective but low-impact nature of this type of exercise, in addition to general fitness, significant improvements have been seen in rehabilitation patients. These include accident recovery, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, osteoporosis, cardio, sport injuries and joint rehabilitation.
